Cased Hole Wireline Supervisor Training
This class is a logging training package for guys that understand everyday wireline operations but want to advance their career to running a wireline truck. This 10 day class can be divided into 2 sections or taken straight through.
Section 1 will cover (4 days)
Wireline Basic Electricity/ Wireline Maintenance and reheading
RP-67 Explosives Safety/Stray voltage test/arming procedures
Open hole log reading/Open Hole Tools/Tool Zero and Correlation/ Geology
Gamma Tool/Gamma Gun Operation and Theory
Pumpdown Theory
Section 2 will cover (6 days)
Warrior Software Training
Gamma/CCL logging and Temperature logging on Test well
Gamma/CCL perforating using Control Fire Addressable switches.
Wireline Pumpdown operation on Simulator
Warrior Software
The Warrior Software is a mature logging package that stresses ease of use, wide versatility, with a true multi-tasking environment. The software can be used on a single computer to acquire real time data from a borehole, to replay, recalculate and print logs from the raw data or imported data from other systems such as LAS or LIS data formats.
You will learn how to:
- Build log Headers
- Splice & Merge logs
- Data Acquisition
- Creating LAS, LIS, files
- Log Presentation
- Correlation curve presentation
RP67
RP67 is an Oilfield Recommended Safety Practice when dealing with oilfield explosives. Top Gun Oilfield Training Center believes it is imperative that students be taught the recommended way by API (American Petroleum Institute) how to handle oilfield explosives safetly.
Students will learn how to:
- Understand Primary & Secondary Explosives
- Proper gun arming procedures
- Check Fire procedures
- Learn different types of gun strings
- Select Gun fire systems
- Explosive shipping
ControlFire® Systems
Learn about Titan’s ControlFire switch system, the forefront of perforating switch technology, which employs innovative switch identification logic to accurately perforate multiple intervals in one trip. The RF-Safe ControlFire System features conventional detonators combined with the ControlFire switch to prevent unintended detonation of explosives from stray electricity. This cutting-edge technology offers a cost-effective and RF-safe solution without compromising on safety.
Perforating
Perforating is one of the most common services that casedhole trucks perform. Students will learn to correlate to an open hole or cased hole log that they are presented with using a Gamma or CCL tool. Students will Shoot using a Gamma Tool and will shoot with Hunting Control Fire Addressable System on test well. They will also learn:
- Explosive Safety Handling Procedures
- Gun Arming Procedures
- Shooting on the Fly
